Story

Brazilian soccer star, Ronaldinho, grew up in a family of football players from his humble hometown of Porto Alegre. Inspired by his father, who was also a former professional football player, Ronaldinho started playing soccer at the young age of 7. His passion for football along with his skills allowed him to reach success in the sport.

Ronaldinho made his senior debut for Grêmio in the 1998 Copa Libertadores tournament. After an award-winning youth career, he was invited to play for the senior Brazilian National Team to compete in Mexico. He proved his amazing abilities during this game by winning the Golden Ball Award as the Tournament’s Best Player!

Ronaldinho was then invited to join Brazil’s National Team that won the 2002 World Cup. It was from this moment that Ronaldinho became a prominent figure in the football world. He may be retired now but he has had an incredible football career by being named FIFA World Player of the Year twice and by playing for clubs in Brazil, France, Spain, and Italy.
